How to Heat Cumberland Gap Smoked Sausage
 
To Grill or Broil
  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • Preheat Grill/Broiler
  • Grill/ Broil 3-5 inches from heat
  • If Split Lengthwise: approximately 1-2 minutes per side or until lightly browned
  • If Whole: approximately 5 minutes - turning occasionally or until lightly browned
To Pan Fry
  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • Fry in Preheated Pan at moderate temperature
  • If Split Lengthwise: approximately 2-5 minutes per side or until lightly browned
  • If Whole: approximately 10 minutes - turning occasionally or until lightly browned
To Microwave
  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • Split lengthwise
  • Heat in covered Microwave dish on high 3 minutes per pound
To Boil
  • Open package
  • Remove all wrapping
  • Boil water
  • Cut sausage into 2 pieces
  • Place sausage in boiling water and reduce heat to low simmer
  • Heat 8 minutes per pound
